Basketball & Cheerleading
for Boys and Girls in Grades 2 to 7

League runs February 16 to April 12, 2008

Cost Per Child (early registration through Jan. 18):

• Basketball - $60

• Cheerleading - $60

After January 18, cost increases by $10 per child.
Basketball shorts are optional at a cost of $11.

Deadline for Registration is January 25, 2008.

Everyone MUST attend a basketball evaluation or cheerleading sign-up.  They will take place at the Main Street Family Life Center as follows:

• 4th-7th Grade Boys/Girls - Friday, Jan. 18, 5:00 to 9:00 pm
  - AT PLUM CREEK CHURCH
   

• 2nd/3rd Grade Boys/Girls - Friday, Jan. 25, 5:00 to 9:00 pm
  - AT MAIN STREET CHURCH

League Schedule:

• Practice begins - Monday, February 4, 2008

• First Game - Saturday, February 16, 2008

• Awards Nights - Saturday, Tuesday, April 19, 2008

Upward Sports Leagues promote character and self-esteem in every child by providing:

• Equal playing time for every player
• A one-hour practice and game each week of the season
• An evaluation process to provide equal opportunity for improvement
• Individual not group or team sign-ups to allow each child to meet new friends
• Separate leagues for boys and girls
